RiverGate’s Children’s Ministry Department is here to assist you in the “training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).
OUR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM
Mr. Jacob Rowlett is the Children's Ministry Director at RiverGate Church, overseeing ministry for students in Nursery/Preschool and Elementary. His heart and passion is to help students experience the Father's love, to be authentic disciples of Jesus, and to equip the next generation to be empowered with the fruits of the Spirit and both the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. All of our Children's Ministry Team members have completed background checks and gone through an application/screening process. We never leave a team member alone with a child, instead, we practice a two-deep leadership model. If you have any questions about our safety and security procedures, please don't hesitate to reach out to Pastor Cristin Hamman (Associate Pastor) at cristinh@rivergatetulsa.org. We take the security and innocence of your child very seriously and thank you for allowing us to partner with you to minister to them.OUR FOUR WEEKLY SERVICES
We have four services for our nursery, preschool, and elementary students weekly: Wednesdays at 7pm and Sundays at 9am, 10:30am, and 6pm. Here's a closer look at what we have going on:
NURSERY/PRESCHOOl
For our Nursey/Preschool services, we provide students with a solid foundation of God's Word, teaching them Bible stories and scriptures that help them experience God's love and confirm their identities as children of God. We use interactive lessons that incorporate multiple senses and are developmentally appropriate to aid early childhood experiences in the development of social skills, cognitive understanding, and age-appropriate motor skills. Students regularly participate in play time, Bible stories and lessons, worship, crafts, and snack, all under the supervision of loving teachers.
RGC KIDS (ELEMENTARY - K5-5th Grade)
In RGC KiDs, students learn that they have a full-grown Jesus living inside of them. They learn how to hear God's voice and experience Him in a very real way as they participate in high-energy worship, learn the Bible, and are equipped as authentic disciples of Jesus. Our students learn how to share their faith and lead their friends to the Lord, pray for the sick and see them healed, receive visions from God, deliver prophetic words, and so much more, all while having tons of fun with friends!
LET'S GET ACTIVE!
We invite you to check in your students up to 30 minutes before the service. Kids in K5-5th grade will jump around in our Inflatable Zone while parents enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and catch up with friends at church.
There is a Nursing Mother’s Room available for mothers and infants. This secured room is located in the Nursery/Preschool wing and features the service on a closed-circuit TV. Please visit the Nursery/Preschool Check-In Desk for a key.
